by Carlos Motta, 2014
An exceptionally comfortable piece, the Java chair is made of reclaimed peroba rosa laminates • alongside its dark•brown leather, button tacks adhere the cushion to the base, so a "java" quality is evoked. With a base made of iron capped in wood the piece is rustic, clean, and suitable from all angles. It well represents Carlos Motta's progression though a sophisticated yet laid•back attitude. • Made of reclaimed peroba rosa wood and assembled with brass nails • Oxidized iron legs • Leather seat
